The Art of Raw Beauty – Born in Colombia
Discover Bomboná's Raw Emerald Earrings Collection — a tribute to the timeless beauty of Colombia's most celebrated gemstone. Colombia produces over 70% of the world's emeralds, renowned for their deep colour and exceptional clarity.
Each piece captures the essence of morralla emeralds — stones prized not for their perfection, but for their authenticity and natural character. Handcrafted through carefully chosen artisan workshops, these earrings embody Colombia's craftsmanship, culture, and the timeless artistry of its people.
"Each emerald holds its own shape and hue — a reminder that beauty is found in what is real, not refined."

The Beauty of Raw Emeralds — Morralla from Colombia
In the heart of Colombia's emerald country, in the region of Boyacá, lie the mines that produce some of the finest emeralds in the world. Among them are the morralla emeralds — raw, uncut stones that reveal the mineral's true essence.
Unlike faceted emeralds designed for brilliance, morralla emeralds retain their natural crystalline shapes, visible inclusions, and soft variations of green. Their beauty lies in honesty — in the way they reflect the land's geological soul.
Once overlooked by the fine jewelry trade, these gems are now being rediscovered for what they truly are: fragments of nature's poetry. Each one tells a different story of the earth's energy, pressure, and time — a one-of-a-kind expression of Colombia's mineral heritage.
"True forgiveness — stopping blame and granting forgiveness is a task that requires humility and deep respect for others."

A Legacy of Colombian Craftsmanship
Every pair of Bomboná earrings is handmade in artisan workshops carefully chosen for our collaboration. Each studio shares our commitment to preserving traditional jewelry techniques and to honouring the natural form of every stone.
The artisans carefully select each stone and pair it by eye — a process guided by experience, not machinery. The result is jewelry that carries warmth, imperfection, and soul.
In some designs, you'll find touches of filigrana — a delicate metalwork technique passed down through generations in the historic town of Mompox, on the banks of the Magdalena River. Known for its lace-like patterns and intricate detail, filigree transforms metal into a thread of light.
