The Carriel Madero carries the colour of Nariño’s earth: dark brown full-grain leather on the structure, natural brown and white hair on the front panel. It is the most earthy version of the collection — a combination that evokes wood, clay and the Andean roads where the Colombian Carriel was born. The purple interior lining is the unexpected counterpoint: a deep violet that appears only when the bag is opened. A colour gesture reserved for whoever carries it. As with all Bomboná cowhide pieces, the pattern varies between examples — the tones repeat, the exact distribution never does.
