The full-grain leather is selected for its tight grain and its ability to develop a unique patina with use — a mark of time that no factory can reproduce. The Italian-sourced gold-tone hardware is mounted by hand onto the leather without hidden metal fittings. The ultramarine blue polyester interior lining deliberately contrasts with the warm exterior — a nod to the dual character of whoever carries this piece: handcrafted on the outside, contemporary within.
